Back tire question.. I am new to the forum and thought I would post a new thread for this. I don't mean to hijack this one, but cannot figure out how to post a new one (any help is appreciated): My son has a 2003 KTM 50 Pro Senior. He will be racing this year. I bought the bike used (and it runs great), but I have replaced the back tire tube 7 times, I think, in the past 6 months. It would be more than that if he actually rode every weekend. I'm frustrated. It's unfair to him and costly for me. Every time I take it to the shop and explain that it's not normal they suggest all the usual things - which I've done. They have gone over the rim with a fine tooth comb, taped the inside, the spokes are tight, extra PSI, etc. The one thing I keep getting told is the tube is twisted on the inside most likely causing a pinch - that makes sense to me. I'm at wits end. Anyone have similar probs like this? Suggestions? |
