HandBrake is a multiplatform, multithreaded video transcoder. Requires Microsoft.NET framework 4.7.1. I used to switch between using Xvid4PSP and Handbrake, first time coming back to Handbrake in a while but I'm glad I did not only is it FAR better laid out than Xvid4PSP now it also appears to have everything Xvid4PSP does and more while not being a cluttered mess of profiles.

Xvid4PSP as good as it once might have been as an alternative has washed all of that away by forcing users to pay if you want to use daily builds which for me is unethical as the software is and has been for years in a beta state and it is an absolute slap in the face to all of the people that reported issues and helped make it as popular as it has become. Stick to Handbrake, as good as it is now it makes Xvid obsolete anyway.
